HELLO EVERYONE, IF
YOU HAVE PROBLEMS REGARDING SKIN AND HAIR AND DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO
MAIL ME at [email protected]
 | Q.
I am 19 years old and in good
health. But my problem is, since last year I have developed an allergy to sunlight.
Whenever exposed to it, red, itchy boils break out all over my body and last for almost 15
minutes. Due to this problem, I have patches on my face. What shall I do? |
Answer. First of all avoid direct exposure to
sunlight, especially between 11 am and 4 p.m. when the sun's rays are the brightest. If
you must go out, use a sunblock with a SPF of 30 or above. If you develop the allergic
reaction, take some anti-histamines like Cetzine. Apply Caladryl lotion on the affected
areas.
 | Q.
I have dark circles around my
eyes. Please suggest something for this that I can do at home. |
Answer.
There are many causes for dark circles, ranging from hereditary factors to not enough
sleep., to wearing specs or sitting too much in front of the computer. There fore, drink
plenty of water, sleep better, check your blood to see if you are anemic, and eat lots of
fresh fruit and vegetables. For temporary relief, place frozen used tea bags on your eyes
and keep in position until they thaw out. You can also use cucumber slices or a freshly
grated potato pack.
 | Q.
I am a 24 year old male. My
problem is that I am short and bit plump. What do suggest that I do to make me look a bit
taller and thinner? I mean clothes-wise. |
Answer.
You have to create an illusion of height. To do that, please avoid wearing contrasting
colors. For instance, if you are wearing a white shirt, then please choose a light colored
trouser, not dark, because it cuts your body into half and makes you look even shorter.
Also try wearing vertical stripes. It creates height. About being plump, dont worry
too much about it, plump is healthy J and most girls
dont mind huggable things hehe. Just dont wear pants with too many pleats,
wear them straight.
 | Q.
I get pimples very often, and
they look really awful and spoil my looks. I have tried many things, but they dont
work. Please suggest something different. |
Answer.
Pimples or acne, trouble most oily skins. Reasons are due to hereditary factors, eating
too many oily foods, constipation, not washing the face properly, or hormonal reasons. Get
some pollen-bee capsules, or tabs, break them, make a paste with water and apply the
mixture directly onto the affected area. Also, take some erythromycin tablets orally about
twice a day. For more severe cases, the best thing is to show a doctor. Dont meddle
with it. After all, you have only one face, right?
 | Q<
/big>. I am a twenty-year-old girl.
My problem is that my face looks kind of fat. It's round in shape. Can you please tell me
what I can do to look better? |
Answer. The perfect shape for a face is oval.
You have not mentioned if your hair is long or short. Because we have to work with your
hair on this. You have to have a hairstyle that makes your hair come on to the cheeks,
(from near the ear area) and sort of "hide them". So if you have long hair, then
I would advise you to cut it into pageboy style, leaving it short near the cheeks and
ears, long at the back. If you have short hair, it makes matters easier. Create an
illusion of an oval face by making your hair come on to the cheeks.
